Meya Campbell, also known as Meya Sophia, is a Master Braider with more than 25 years of experience in braids and locs. In 2009, Meya graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

She later earned a master’s degree in Counseling in 2011. Meya commends herself on being a self-taught braider, however, she has obtained education to specialize in stitch and feed in braids from some of the greatest braiders in the industry - including Braids by Ms. Nelly and Braided Rebel. She specializes in healthy braiding practices to help clients retain the length and fullness of their hair and offers a wide variety of braid styles.

Meya has committed herself to teaching fellow and future braiders how to properly execute stitch, design, and knotless braids from start to finish.

When she's not behind the chair, Meya enjoys being a mom, spending time with her family, and traveling. Meya is excited to offer you a braiding salon, beauty supply and boutique to exclusively offer some of the best products and merchandise in this area.
